The Bridgestone Americas headquarters is moving to Nashville! It will be the epicenter of Bridgestone Americas. We are bringing everyone to one central location to create a new atmosphere for employees and the company to grow. We are excited to have everyone be in one place to become a better Bridgestone! We are combining almost all of our other offices into one central location. We will be housing over 10,000 employees on HQ’s campus.
The Environamental Affairs team partners with stakeholders to help achieve industry-leading environmental compliance, performance, and reputation by effectively integrating environmental risks and opportunities to improve processes, business models and products. Across BSAM, 17 corporate-level environmental managers serve to provide guidance, assistance and performance tracking for all business units. In addition, each BSA facility has someone assigned to manage environmental requirements - some full time and many more with additional roles and duties.
Corporate Security protects Bridgestone Americas’ people, business, intellectual property and information assets. Using a risk management model, our small team of security professionals - based in the U.S., Latin America and Liberia - supports Bridgestone Americas where it operates and where its teammates travel. We give you - our customers - the peace of mind you need to direct all your energies toward accomplishing your business objectives. And, we do it with a knowledge of Bridgestone Americas, multidisciplinary experience and a business acumen that sets us apart from others in our industry. Our menu of services includes security awareness briefings, physical security reviews, threat forecasting, vulnerability assessments, expatriate support, travel advice, security technology research and design, workplace violence prevention and response, and leadership of the BSA Business Assurance Program.
Procurement’s role is to source quality raw materials, goods and services competitively in order to create the best value for Bridgestone, while ensuring uninterrupted production and achieving budget performance. The Procurement Team is approximately 100 teammates strong, supporting Bridgestone business units across North America.
The Corporate Safety team guides and assists the BSA organization in the areas of safety, health and disaster prevention through the Line-Driven Safety Philosophy, which addresses management commitment, teammate involvement, hazard analysis, prevention and control and education. There are 11 corporate level safety and health professionals to assist the business units in addressing safety and health imprvement opportunities as well as meeting governmental safety and health requirements. Additionally, each manufacturing operation, distribution center, research facility, retail operation, has assigned someone to manage safety and health requirements; some full time professionals and many more with additional roles and duties.
